Warranties
udmdj.co.uk offers a standard 12 month Manufacturers Warranty on all Electrical Goods. Some manufacturers offer more and this will be indicated on the product if this is the case.
Faulty Goods
If an item is received as faulty and we are notified within 7 days of delivery we will offer a replacement item immediately if deemed as faulty upon inspection by us [subject to availability] and recover the goods ourselves if not purchased in our store.
Some manufacturers provide their own product support - if this is the case - we may refer you to the manufacturer of the product for additional support to rectify software or hardware issues on computer dj products.
This is usually done by e-mail or over phone with technical staff.
Returning Goods under warranty
After 28 days have elapsed from delivery we will require you to send the item back to us/the manufacturer for inspection at your own expense.
Warranty repair claims will be processed via the appropriate Manufacturer (subject to their approval - If the fault is deemed a 'Non Warranty' repair we will inform you of any costs before any repair work is undertaken).
Please ensure the item is boxed in the original packaging and insured when sending it back to us. We do not accept liability for any goods that are not adeqately packaged or insured and arrive damaged whilst being returned to us.
Once the item has been received we will send the item to be repaired and return the item to you as quickly as possible.
Please note*
In some cases this can take up to 3 working weeks [21 days including weekends] as parts may need to be ordered. We advise you to have back up equipment in place should the repair period be advised as longer than usual.
Exceptions not covered by any warranty:
Mixer Faders, Crossfaders, Cartridges and Stylus, Blown Speaker Cones, DJ Software, Fluids.
