The baby of the Pioneer DJ Controllers range from Pioneer, but by no means an infant in its class.

Being a compactly laid out controller, its design is fantastic with curves all round, including the moulded rear leg design to stow away a laptop keyboard by sliding it underneath thus leaving just a screen showing, a nice touch and space saving too.

The top layout of the unit gives any level of dj the ability to play superb sets and is ideal for not just the club dj but also the full time mobile dj who uses his equipment to the maximum week in week out.

Bundled out of the box with Virtual DJ LE, the Pioneer DDJ-Ergo is easy to set up and using The Ergo is a breeze - create playlists and music library's then delve a little deeper by using the Midi Function and link with other midi compatible dj software like Traktor [a .tsi file is available for mapping to Traktor]

The Pioneer Ergo is a very stylish dj controller with contoured edges and the black, white and gradient colors make this a very desirable dj controller from Pioneer. The layout features a large 115 mm jogwheel platter which holds control over the most important part - functionality. The Pioneer DDJ-Ergo platter design also has a new function called 'Pulse Control'.

The pulse control system illuminates various areas of the controller to assist in the dj mixing process by changing colour to give the user a real time display as to what outputs are live, bpm by light indicator to assist in the smoothest mix or the seamless live mobile or band show.

NEW! Pulse control adds a visual dimension for precision performance

The newly developed Pulse Control system uses light to give a visual representation of pitch, beat, effects and which decks are in use. Built-in LED's enhance your precision and add a new dimension to the art of DJ'ing. 

The main features of Pulse Control include:

• Mix Pulse: A blue LED on the jog wheel shows how close the phase of the mix is during a mix. The bigger the difference in pitch, the weaker the light. The closer the match, the more intense the light shines.
• Beat Pulse: LEDs in the channel faders match the beat of the track in play. Plus the strength of the light reflects output levels, so you always know if a track is still in the mix.
• Launch Pulse: A red light travels from the Load button towards the Jog Wheel to indicate when a track has been loaded.
• FX Pulse: Various light patterns on the Jog Wheel clearly show which FX DJs have applied.

The Ergo boasts features from Pioneer’s pro range ensuring top quality sound and ease of use.

It also has many features that are unique at this price point, including a 115mm Jog Wheel from the Pioneer pro-DJ range. 

The controller has also inherited the same layout as the popular DDJT1 and DDJS1 controllers. The controller uses the same audio circuitry as Pioneer’s professional mixers for the master out terminal, ensuring a clear, powerful reproduction with no sound degradation.

Innovative laptop integration keeps screen in DJs’ line of sight at all times

Pioneer’s laptop dock design enabled DJ's to place a laptop keyboard underneath the controller to keep space to a minimum and also keep the laptop screen in view while using the controls. The ERGO can also be adapted to sitting or standing positions - simply set the controller flat on any surface by unscrewing the removable legs.

The Ergo is completely USB powered for even easier set up so it is fully operational from a USB bus through your computer, eliminating the need for an external power supply. The LED's indicators clearly show what is happening and the audio output levels are powerful and loud with no compromise.

The controller’s eye-catching design features a black top panel and black and silver half-tone Jog Wheel. With it’s rounded edges and white side panel. The DDJ-ERGO looks good in the studio, the booth or the bedroom.
