
Ordering & Delivery
Do you deliver to my Country?
We deliver parcels to the UK & Isles and Europe only. You can access a list of delivery countries by placing an item into the shopping basket.
Do you use a courier service?
Yes we do - DHL for all heavier goods & awkward parcels, otherwise we use royal mail postal service.
Can you deliver to my work address?
Yes we can, although on most orders over £200 we reserve the right to deliver to only the card address not any other.
Do you deliver for the next day?
Yes we can - although we offer a standard 2-3 uk delivery time, we find in most cases the couriers deliver for the following day. *if we receive the order before 3pm *subject to stock.
What happens if my order hasnt arrived?
Dont panic! - All parcels are mailed by 1st class Recorded &/orspecial delivery/courier services and are fully trackable. We can always sort out delivery problems for you and can claim compensation should any goods go missing, be stolen or arrive damaged.
Can I order by telephone?
Yes - please call our sales line 01992 462219 to place your order.
Can you guarantee delivery on a certain time or by a particular date?
We make every effort to despatch all orders as soon as possible, but exact delivery times are beyond our control.
Can I collect from the shop, instead of having it mailed?
Yes - we have a "collect from shop" facility. When you are ready to checkout there is a dropdown menu with several delivery regions listed. Select "COLLECT FROM SHOP" & the postage is wiped out. You will still need your credit card handy to pay for the goods and will need to bring this into the store when collecting your order.
Can I add items to an order I have already placed?
As we process orders as soon as they arrive, unfortunately it is not possible to add to an existing order. If you require further items, you must place a new order via the shopping cart.
How do I know you have received my order?
We send an e-mail confirmation to you for each order, stating the items ordered and the total cost. You should receive the e-mail within 30mins of placing the order. Please ensure you add us to your contacts folder to stop our mails disappearing as junk!
What means of payment do you accept?
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Delta, Switch, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Visa Electron. We do not accept cheques, money orders, bank transfers or the following cards: American Express, Diners Club.
Do i have to have an account to order? Yes. In order to provide the best service we require you to register. It saves you time & typing if you want to order on a regular basis from us to have an account.
How do i pay for items online?
Simply collate the items you want in our basket and click "checkout" following the online instructions. We accept all major credit & debit cards [see above]
Im 'Adding to Basket' but it doesnt work - why?
When ordering over the internet it is essential to make sure that you have cookies enabled in your web browser. To find out if you have the correct settings simply check your options or preferences. This will enable our shopping basket system to function correctly.

When do you update your site?
We endeavour to post new items & more products onto the site as soon as possible so keep your eyes on the homepage & store sections for regular updates!!
How do I know a product is in stock?
All items on the website are usually in stock. Our stock indicators are maintained every day. Occasionally a product may go out of stock before a page is updated - if this occurs, we will e-mail you to notify you of the unavailable item and keep you informed of a date for re-delivery.
I recently saw a product on the website but it is no longer listed - can I still order it?
If an item goes out of stock, it will appear online with an 'X' out of stock notice and cannot be ordered. However, we re-stock frequently so things will usually reappear on the website a few days later (unless they are unavailable from our supplier).
Do you sell second-hand equipment?
No. All equipment is brand new out of the box unless otherwise stated.
Do you offer warranties on your products?
Yes. 12 months is standard on all products sold on our website.
Can i buy on finance?
We unfortunately do not offer finance deals at present.
What if I do not like the products I have ordered? Can I return them?
You have 7 days to return any unwanted items, however we cannot refund on items such as headphones, software etc once opened. All other orders are on a "firm sale" basis and we cannot exchange items unless damaged or faulty.
Do you have an online sales & return procedure?.
Yes we do. We adhere to all uk trading laws & have SHOPSAFE & WHICH? recommendations for safe & reliable service. We want you to be happy with your shopping experience whilst using UDM at all times. Customer satisfaction is our priority.
Credit Cards & Order Security
When will my credit card be charged?
Thecard is usually charged within 24 hours of the order being received toensure the transaction is safe & to secure any special order itemsfrom our suppliers.
Is your website safe & secure with my personal details?
Yes. We use an encrypted shopping server online to ensure all the details transmitted within our secure area are safe & sound. We do not disclose any personal information to anyone else.
Will I receive an invoice with my order?
No. - For security reasons we no longer send out invoices in the parcels. When your order is placed a detailed invoice in the form of an e-mail will be sent to the address you specify.
What if my card payment is not authorised?
You will receive an e-mail from us. You may have entered incorrect card information so please respond to our mails as quickly as possible.
If I order from outside the UK, will I pay customs charges?
If you are ordering from within EU Europe, you may have to pay customs charges. Most other countries allow small packages to be delivered without charge, but some charge customs duty - please contact your national customs office regarding this subject, as you the customer (not UDM Ltd) is always liable for any such charges.

Do you sell goods to the trade or wholesale?.
Sorry no we sell to the public direct.
Ive lost my password - can i still log-in?.
Yes you can. Simply enter your e-mail address in the box provided and click FORGOTTEN PASSWORD. Our database will mail your password to you!
Do you have a mailing list?.
Yes we do. To receive our weekly e-mail updates click MAILING LIST and enter your details. You will then receive our new release & stock updates regularly. You can opt out at any time.
Im on your mailing list but cannot read the mails!?.
We use a format called HTML to view our mailouts. You will need to tell your mail account to view these. In the settings you will see mail options & in here you can choose to view either WEB BASED CONTENT or VIEW MAILS IN ALL FORMATS.
