Denon SC2900 DIGITAL CD/MP3/MEDIA PLAYER

The new Denon SC-2900 is the younger sibling of the SC3900, and does not have a moving platter. This is Denon's first media player to have a static jog wheel and is sure to become a class leading bit of kit.

With its playback from USB drives and sharing between up to 4 players linked [including current SC3900 owners] Denon have indeed raised the bar for club dj's and the like. Not forgetting the cd playing deejay either, of course you can still use the front loading slots to playback traditional cd's.

Traktor 2 compatibility adds more spice to the overall functionality of the unit. With loop and cue buttons placed nicely to the left of the platter and navigation buttons to the right the layout lends itself to quick control over every format.

Hard Cue and Play buttons

'SLIP' button which replaces the SC3900s DUMP' button: for reverse, loop, and scratch whilst continuing playback at the same rhythm and point that would have been reached prior to pushing 'slip' - an essential editing feature in the studio and the booth for dropping out inappropriate lyrics without disturbing the flow of music.

Player Link with Engine
